Although our uniform is not compulsory, many pupils prefer to wear it as it signifies that they are going to school.
School uniform minimises socioeconomic disparties among students by minimising visible differences in clothing while fostering a sense of community and school spirit, helping students feel connected to their school community. Uniforms also make daily preparation easier, saving time and reducing stress for students and families.

We understand that children grow quickly and it can be costly to buy new uniform frequently. For this reason, we offer a 'swap shop' at every parents evening, where families can come and swap their uniform for a bigger size, donate uniform which does not fit their child anymore or buy used uniform items for a small donation to the school.
We ask that if you are donating uniform to please ensure it is clean and in good condition.

We recognise that some students may have physical, sensory or medical needs whereby different clothing may be more suitable (i.e. no tags, buttons etc), therefore, your child may wear their own clothes to school. However, we would recommend avoiding this option if your child would tolerate wearing a school uniform, as our engaging and active lessons may result in clothes becoming damaged or stained.

If your child will not tolerate a school uniform, please ensure that they wear casual, washable clothing suitable for all activities and avoid sending them into school wearing their best or delicate clothing.

Additionally, kindly label all clothing (uniform and non uniform) with your child's name to avoid them getting lost or misplaced.

Please ensure your child has a spare set of clothes in their bag. Your child may need a change of clothing for a number of reasons and it is important that we have spare clothes to ensure they are clean, dry and comfortable at all times.
