We recognise that your child's journey can sometimes feel overwhelming and the thought of coming into school can be daunting for families. In addition, we recognise that caring for a child with unique needs can also bring feelings of isolation. We understand that our families face bespoke challenges but please know, you are not alone. Our dedicated care coordinator, Sara is here to support you and your family.
Sara brings a wealth of knowledge and experience and is available to assist with any concerns relating to your child's needs. Sara can guide you to external services, advice lines, and agencies that may be helpful. Working closely with the headteacher, senior leaders and other professionals across education, health and social care, Sara organises coffee mornings and workshps tailored to the challenges faced by our families.
As a safeguarding officer, Sara can also make referrals to social care if needed. Her role is to help parents develop skills to support their child's education, foster a sense of community among families and promote the overall wellbeing of the students and their families.
Sara regularly arranges coffee mornings and workshops in partnership with professionals, external agencies, and school staff. If you have suggesstions for future coffee mornings, events or workshops, she would gladly help oranise these with you.
Our family room is available for all parents and carers to use, whether you want to meet other families, host your own coffee morning or simply enjoy a quiet space. To book, please contact the school office on 020 8805 1858 or email Sara and they will assist you in arranging a suitable time.
We value your feedback and encourage you to share your thoughts on upcoming coffee mornigs and workshops. You can also provide feedback through our annual survey which takes place in the Summer Term of each academic year. Let us know what you need, and we will do our very best to support you.
